10 oz for speed and pad work, 12 oz for most adults on the heavy bag, 14 oz for heavier training, 16 oz for sparring. Most gyms require 16 oz to spar. If you're between two, go up.

Slightly. Heavier gloves have more padding and a roomier fit. The F15 is cut to fit average adult hands at every weight; with hand wraps on, 12–16 oz is comfortable for most.
