▸ What do I fill the base with?
Sand or water. Sand is heavier and steadier; water is easier to fill and empty if you'll move it. The base ships empty.
▸ Will it tip or slide?
Filled with sand it stays put under hard punches and kicks. On smooth floors, a rubber mat under the base helps. Expect some rocking on very hard shots; that's normal for any free-standing bag.
▸ Can I kick it?
Yes. It's built for boxing, kickboxing and MMA. Low kicks land on the padded column; keep them above the base.
▸ How much room does it need?
Allow about a 6 × 6 ft area so you can move around it. Ceiling height isn't a factor since nothing hangs.
▸ Are the included mitts enough to train with?
For the first sessions, yes. For regular training, proper gloves protect your hands better; the Home Boxing Station bundles this bag with F15 gloves and wrist wraps.
▸ F6 or Target bag?
Same base and build. The Target version has marked strike zones for accuracy drills; the F6 is a plain column. Beginners often like the Target zones; experienced boxers usually don't need them.
