Choosing your glove weight
For bag work most adults are well served by 12 or 14 oz. Lighter gloves suit speed drills, heavier gloves protect the hands over longer rounds.

▸ What do I fill the base with, and how much?
Sand or water; sand is steadier. The base ships empty and takes most of a standard bag of play sand. Fill it where the bag will stand, since it's heavy once full.
▸ How much space do I need?
About 6 × 6 ft so you can move around it. Ceiling height doesn't matter.
▸ Will it damage the floor?
Not on concrete or rubber. On hardwood or laminate, put a rubber mat under the base to protect the floor and stop the bag creeping.
▸ Can I kick it?
Yes, it's built for kickboxing and MMA as well as boxing. Aim kicks at the padded column.
▸ Can I return just one item?
No. Bundle items are returned together, since the bundle is priced as a set.
