Both. Under boxing gloves they stabilize the wrist on impact; in the gym they support pressing and overhead work. They're the wraps in our boxing bundles.
▸ How tight should I wrap them?
Firm enough that the wrist doesn't bend under load, loose enough to keep circulation. Wrap, close the strap, make a fist; if your fingers tingle, loosen a turn.

Hand-wash in cool water and air-dry. Skip the dryer; heat weakens the elastic.
