WalkingPad R2 Folding Treadmill
A folding treadmill with a genuine running speed range and an interactive light strip along the deck. Handrail folds flat for storage.
What it changes
Bought once, not billed monthly. A US gym runs $40–70 a month, every month, whether you go or not. This is one payment, and it stays in your home.
The drive costs more than the fee. Two sessions a week is an hour in traffic and fuel you didn't plan on. Here the commute is the length of a hallway.
Your evenings come back. 6 a.m. or 10 p.m., twelve minutes or fifty. Nothing has to be booked, and nothing closes.
Built to outlast the payback. Optional protection from Consumer Priority Service picks up after the one-year manufacturer warranty, for up to six years of total coverage.
Why you'll love it
- Built to run, not just walk. A 1.25 HP motor and 7.5 mph top speed give you an 8-minute mile on a 17.3 in belt.
- Still a walking pad by day. Fold the handrail and it drops to walking mode for the desk. Starts as slow as 0.3 mph.
- Pace you can see. The interactive light strip along the deck shifts with your speed.
- Folds flat, rolls away. Handrail and deck fold; large wheels move the 79 lb frame without lifting.

Frequently asked questions
Tap a question to open the answer.
▸ Is 7.5 mph fast enough for real running?
For most home runners, yes: 7.5 mph is an 8-minute mile. If you do speed work above that, look at the X25 (9.9 mph) or X218 (11.2 mph).
▸ Can I walk on it at a desk?
Yes. Fold the handrail down and it runs in walking mode. Check the height clearance under your desk, as it sits a little taller than a pure walking pad.
▸ R2 or R3 Hybrid+?
Same belt width and top speed. The R2 has the stronger 1.25 HP motor and starts slower (0.3 mph); the R3 Hybrid+ carries more (265 vs 243 lb) and has an angled display. Regular runners: R2. Heavier users or mostly walking: R3 Hybrid+.
▸ How much floor space does it need in use?
Roughly 60 × 30 in with the handrail up. Allow a bit of clearance behind the deck.
▸ Does it need assembly?
No. It ships folded; raise the handrail, plug in and go.
Delivery
Free delivery to addresses in the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Orders are dispatched within 48 hours of payment from our US warehouse and typically arrive within 2 to 6 working days. Tracking is emailed on dispatch. Warranty and returns
Every R2 comes with a 12-month limited warranty covering the motor, electronic controller, main frame and console. The full terms are in our warranty policy.
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery in original packaging. Items delivered between 1 November and 31 December may be returned within 45 days. See our refund policy for the full terms.
Optional extended protection
You can add an extended protection plan from Consumer Priority Service (CPS), our warranty partner, when you order. It begins where the 12-month manufacturer warranty ends and can take total coverage up to six years.
- One single payment — never a monthly rate. You pay once at checkout. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and nothing to cancel later.
- 100% of parts and labor for mechanical and electrical failure, including manufacturing defects and hardware failure.
- Home and commercial use are both covered — the plan is valid whether the treadmill sits in your bedroom or in an office.
- If it cannot be repaired, it gets replaced.
Pick your term from the protection plan option shown with this product or in your cart. It is entirely optional, and the 12-month manufacturer warranty applies either way. Accidental damage is not covered by this plan.
Still deciding? Compare the range
Best value — you're on it
WalkingPad R2 — the strongest motor at the entry point of the treadmill range.
It starts slower than anything else here, which is what makes it usable at a desk, and still holds an eight-minute mile once the handrail is up. The trade-off: no quick speed keys, and a lower weight rating than the X-series.
If you mostly walk and jog occasionally
WalkingPad Z3 Hybrid+ — the lightest machine here, flat under a desk with the handrail down and a jog with it up. Best if walking is the main event and running the exception. See the Z3 Hybrid+ →
If you want one machine for the desk and for running
WalkingPad R3 Hybrid+ — the same wide deck, with a higher weight rating and an angled display. Best if you'd otherwise buy a pad and a treadmill. See the R3 Hybrid+ →
If storage space is the real constraint
KingSmith MX10 — folds in two directions, so a full treadmill ends up behind a door. Best if the machine has to disappear between sessions. See the MX10 →
If it has to look good in the living room
KingSmith G1 Plus — a classic treadmill shape in five colors, controlled by one knob instead of a menu. Best if the machine stays out where people see it. See the G1 Plus →
